The Whisper
It was once upon a whisper
Which was spoken in all haste
Words and feelings drenched in passion
None of them were wise and chaste
But the whisper was unruly
It could simply not be tamed
And it did not even bother
About the thought who would be shamed
As it tore away from reason
With sheer arrogance and pride
It just dashed away from patience
It pushed kindness to the side
As it rushed toward its freedom
With a tumble and a fall
Off to set ablaze the calmness
Causing pain and grief for all.
