The Whining Doberman

The Whining Doberman


Hey, what you doing looking just at me!
     You see I'm begging you to play?
Look here, my toys are waiting just for us...
     please throw one, let's have fun today!

You're standing there with camera in your hands!
     I'm losing patience, so please stop!
I want you now to pick up my best toy
     and tell me 'fetch' so I can hop,

and run and jump like we do every day...
     no more just filming me upset.
It is so boring when I play alone...
     all I can do is whine and fret!

Come, play with me, I don't know what to do!
     When by myself it's not the same.
You call me 'Buddy'...I'm your bestest friend!
     My whines will stop for just one game!

I used Link A on YouTube as the reference for my poem.
Owner says he is whining cause he lost a treat under
the cabinet.  But I used a different reason. You can click
