The Wheel of Good Men
When times are tough - survival fought
Bread and circus come to naught
Do we need hard work and thought?
No. Just a good man
Theory needs some evidence
Faith ignores this - that's its strength
Leaps of logic - any length
Believe the good man
Listen close to his solution
Break the chains of destitution
Rise together! Revolution!
Follow the good man
There is no grey - just black and white
Choose whose side you want to fight
We will set our world alight
All for the good man
With truth and lies and sword and gun
The battle's fought - the war is won
But the work is far from done
Hail the good man
We bring order - must be cruel
Wheat from chaff - we need a tool
Divide all men - judge by our rule
Fear the good man
Do not kill but love your brother
Do not steal and do not covet
Unless he says to do the other
Obey the good man
We must educate the young
Burn the books except our one
Hymns and anthems will be sung
Raised by the good man
Pick a group and call them names
Pose no danger - often blamed
Kill them now! They're all the same!
Hate for the good man
Times are tough - we suffer pain
Do we work and use our brains?
Or revolution turns again?
There's always another good man
