The Way We Were

We used to give the President 
  and the Presidency
    the benefit of the doubt

Now we doubt
  there's any benefit
    to the President
      or the Presidency

That is the ambiguous fallout when conveying your thoughts in the middle of talking on the phone, supposedly, another thought came to mind (phone answered 'la-di-la-di-la-di') and voila, a guffaw--should have started, "Genius verse..."--my bad, mine's is worst than David's, 'went' instead of 'want', Aloha wk

I remember watching a movie "Cromwell' where he was giving the Lords crap for profiting from their power. He was told that was the only reason to be in power was to profit by it. That is why Trump drives everyone nuts, he doesn't need anything. They went their power and their profit back. Have a great day my friend.
