The Way Home

“The Way Home”
I close my eyes, and dream in reverse of The Great Contretemps The feared no-go zone a minor drop in the ocean too swift a journey now we walk together,
HOME
to the warm shores of
LOVE
I walk calmly at peace, there, ... there, you step in time beside me, steadily, strength garnered from mistakes’ failures a final great

Well, I finally figured out who has been writing these awesome poems. (lol) Yes, we all make mistakes in life, it's part of life I guess. Even though most make it back home some have taken long long winding roads to get there...Love this LL, so glad to see you back again... x Cowboy (lol)

Sh**t happens. I am sorry to hear you are doing it tough. We all go through it at some point in our lives, no one is pristine, or perfect. That would make a person self-righteous. If you are not totally alone and a person does have a strong support network of family and friends, that is the time to not isolate and reach out to them for love and support. Easier said than done for some I guess. But we all make it "Home" eventually, hopefully to that place somewhere deep inside us that houses our Higher Self. x Thanks for reading A.M. The trick is to never give up on yourself, and when one is found to be knocked over in complex ways, or not, and without strong support, family or friends, that is when one usually turns towards faith and belief in the Divine.

To see where one has been, not an easy thing to do as footprints fade leaving only memories of being warm together and the fractured pieces of a face that come and goes leaving only introspection as a container for the silence as the heart meditates...my first thought after reading this poem

Everyone is on their own journey. Everyone hopefully will make it to that good place inside themself, that takes them to where they are meant to be - "Home"; take that whichever way you will Monsieur Parker. Thanks for your earnest thoughts, as always. Your friend, L x
