The Wave Returns To the Ocean
Like the rain returns to the sky,
As the river flows to the sea.
From physical to spiritual we glide.
When the rock crumbles back to
The earth, its form is now reborn.
While all that is, is not,
And all that comes must go.
When dawn begets the night,
The hidden clear in sight.
Fragility hardens in time,
Even a void can harness a mind.
What remains in a shadow’s past?
Its future no one can grasp.
A beam of light standing still won’t last,
As it travels through space so vast.
When time knows not its path,
The wave returns to the ocean.
