The Waterfall

The Waterfall
By MEH

Have you ever sat back
and admired the beauty of a waterfall?

Wondering, where is the water going
and where does it end

Trying to follow its path
only to notice the lonely river flowing
and calm still waters at the end

But, have you ever sat back
and wondered
about all the places
that the waterfall has been
before creating this beautiful bend

They say great transformations
create some of the most amazing waterfalls
Where earthquakes,
glaciers,
volcanoes
and earth erosion befalls

The troubled waters
that we never see
The rocks underneath that erodes over time
to make the fall steeper
but the view more amazing

Instead, we are in awe
of the allure
that the waterfall creates

So, the next time you feel
like there is no end
to the storm that you are in
remember the waterfall
and the beauty that comes from within
Where fear ends and faith begins

So trust the process
and be inspired
by the erosion of old things
and the construction
of a beautiful Waterfall

That flows
into the calm river water
Keep in mind
Peace is within
the place The Waterfall creates
