The Water In Every Bath Split In Half

3,334 years ago tomorrow
  the Israelites crossed the Sea
If they had all drowned instead
  today I wouldn’t be me…

The Sea split in half, all the books say
and so did water in every bath
from Lebanon to Babylonaey

So, throughout the ancient world people heard the news
of the good fortune that landed at the feet of the Jews…

But God wouldn’t let the angels celebrate
‘The Egyptians are drowning, don’t jubilate’

So why is Moses singing, the angels asked then ~
A dime in the jukebox bought a lot of 45s way back when

Note: All this stuff actually happened, except I'm not so sure
if dimes worked in early jukeboxes... Gotta google that.

Reminds me of a story I heard. An atheist professor was telling his students that the bible story of the Israelites escape out of slavery by God parting the Red Sea was in error. What really happened is they crossed over the Reed Sea a shallow 3 foot deep marshy area. In the back a young man shouted out praise God its a miracle. The professor was stunned, he had just debunked scripture. The student continued on about a miracle of God. God had drowned the entire Egyptian army in 3 feet of water

Moses was always willing to thank his faithful staff... Pharaoh should have avoided that miracle like the plague... parting is such sweet sorrow. Kidding aside, happy anniversary of the big day, GW. I'm glad you are you.
