The Watcher

Trust me said the dream,
Let me take you by the hand,
I want to give you answers,
To what you don’t understand.

Skip across the sands of time,
There’s plenty there to see.
Just picture in your mind,
And leave the rest up to me.

Floating through the sad times,
If a lonely tear escapes.
I can help you bear it all,
Help comfort past heartaches.

I want to make it better,
If you’ll put your trust in me.
Anything your heart desires,
Why don’t you come with me?

I will hold you in my arms,
Shelter you from pain.
I’ll undo your hardship,
Life will never be the same.

So come from slumber join me,
Journey through the night.
To a different time and place,
With happiness insight.

I offer you no harm,
I just want to make things right.
A guardian angel sent to help,
On your lost and lonely night.

It would be so good if we all had watchers, sadly there are many who do not deserve one >> James
