The Warrior

She saw him standing at the waters edge
crashing waves on splintered ledge
they were are sharp as a razor knife
they were as echoes , of a shattered life

but she saw him walking back to rest
towards the purple dew caress
so she told of new days , where revealed
and she gave him armor, and his shield

she saw him tall above mountains high
and she never doubted, when he wondered why
for days, and weeks, and years he feared
but she knew his heart, and goodness near

she saw him shout up to the sky
he faced the battle , with battle cries
but he never saw her, return to fields of green
just all he knew , was she believed
,
she saw him walking back to watered edge
and he stopped the crashing waves , with what he said
and she saw a Warrior without a sword
and he won the battles
.....................................with his written words.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Reminds me of Jesus in the Revelation with sword protruding from his mouth. Yes, words can have a powerful impact. Nice rhymes Jaq
