The War On Thought Processes
pamphlets declaring war are stuck in the boots of soldiers
as they march towards the capital city that they aim to liberate
they smell the fear in the air and it is thick with anticipation
the sweat collects in their uniforms and has nowhere to escape
they stare at the sky and wait for the clouds to dispense some liquid encouragement
the mud is up to their waists and the snow is unforgiving
they grimace at the thought of what has transpired within these city limits
their imagination runs rampant with fears and phobias of how
they do not know for what they fight
we know now and we remember when
grasping for a concept and filing it away where we think it may be safe
the mind ensnares information with a mental blitzkrieg that defends all thought
a boot traversing through the mud is just as effective as a thought slowly escaping ones mind
as we look to the clouds and see that our brains are blanketed in fog
war may help you look forward but it is also a great way of looking back
now please assist me with these pamphlets
they need to be given out
like free thought and opinion
war has a lot of conflict - true
but internal thought is a struggle in its own way
