The Void

Have you ever known a love, you’ve never met?
A love you know has to be real,
that it has to exist in someone?
A love that makes your heart ache
and your stomach churn?
I always seem to ponder these things
and when I do my heart aches;
my body becomes numb
and tears come down;
like the rain outside my window.
I am in pursuit of love.
I wish for love’s journey to take me away.
I am sick of the void
that has been my heart.
