The voice that only speaks violence
Her silence spoke louder than words
Her eyes A window to her hurt
Begging to be heard
She thought that was something she deserved
So why had she been ignored
She roamed the earth like a ghost
A lost soul hoping for more
Hoping someone will help her
Someone would see how hard she tries
To not cry
Despite her watery eyes
She hadn't known peace
Even within sleep
Even her pain haunts her sleep
She wished she could be
Someone else
To have a brain that wouldn't constantly turn on its self
Words unspoken trapped in her mouth
She wants to scream and shout
Only silence found its way out
She wanted help
But she didn't know how
All she wanted was to stop drowning herself
Her body bore the weight
Of the burden of hate
A painful ache
Her constant headaches
To her it was funny how she was full of silence
Begging to leave
For anyone to see her constant pleas
But anytime she tried
She was denied the right
To fight for a life
That hides in plain sight
The only thing that stopped her was her mind
A place where it was hard to find
A thought that was kind
This caused her to be blind
To a new life so she could leave her unhealed self behind
She just wanted someone to hold her hand
To understand
And guide her to a life
Where she didn't have to constantly fight to stay alive
