The Visit
We had a small tiff.
Stupid, foolish, and headstrong.
She gave me a push,
I fell on the hard pavement.
Darn fool, I broke my left leg.
If I could fly far
To a secluded green vale,
Would I find you there?
With a broken leg in bed?
Why don’t you come to visit me?
You are all smiles now.
I feel elated by love.
Let us forget the past.
I'll love you infinitely.
Nothing will separate us.
As she gave me a long kiss.
