The Violin
Let The Music Begin
From The Vibrant Violin
Instrument of Intensity
Sound of Lingering Urgency
Like Some Slow-Burning Fire
Caught Desire, On It’s Wire
Or Melancholy Melodies
… Melancholy Memories
Oh, How The Resonance Ascends
Whispers On Some Silken Wind
Reaching Air Too Thin To Breathe
But Sounds So Sweet – We Can’t Leave
Strings Stretched Taunt To Attend
Pressures and Pleasures of Men
And Women’s Heart-Strings Sigh
The Way Only Violins Can Cry
… Bittersweet, Beautiful, Poignant
Definite, Stringent or Valiant
So Hesitant, To Let The Music End
Stroke Bow – To The Very End…
… of the Visceral, Vibrant Violin …
