The Verb As a Volt

The verb, when well wired, acts as a unit of electrical potential equal to the difference between two sparks of meaning on a graduated scale of question marks, carrying a constant current of one impact. When poetic power charges the space between the thought and the word there is a jolt, and a vault from an ought to a fact. In the right hands a marvelous toy.

:) Playful! Like this... verbs make or break a poem, but I'm finally relaxing my grip on poetry enough to slip in one adverb, a sprinkle of adjectives... and there is also power in the precise noun, yes, in 'exactness?' Cheers!

Thank you very much, Cyndi. I'm trying to pay more attention to diction. I seem to be verb. I like the sprinkle of adjectives you mention. Like Italian Dressing on a salad. Cheers.

Very nicely said ... The greater potential difference a poet creates the better a reader can get ... of course with the charge ... Well done ...
