I want to liken the transformation of a vampire to the life of an atheist. All people are born into sin. It is the transforming of a life that the Holy Spirit empowers the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ and empowers the Christian to a cruciform way of life of sanctification leading to eternal life. The atheist is in denial even self-deception, when it is claimed they have been set free, ironically atheists are under the bondage of their own will, that will can only sin. The transformation of a vampire is a life that is led away from the Christian values into a life of assumed autonomy. Atheists really know God but attempt to deny His very existence which is proven by their very ability to reason. Atheism presupposes theism. The emotional structure of someone that is turned into a vampire can make them unstable. So is the life of an atheist who attempts to deny God by using their unstable emotional and subjective efforts. The only saving grace among all this chaos is Jesus Christ. What I mean is life is in the blood for the living, and life is in the blood for the dead. Vampires need to feed on others, as the atheist needs to feed on the Christian worldview to make sense of logic, reason, and ethics. You cannot escape God’s existence (you may try to deny it or redefine it) but you will never escape Him. If you are an atheist vampire there is hope in Christ, but that nature must die to live.
