The Value of Memories

Memories bring bitter tears one day, sweet comfort and contented sighs the next. Those journeys down the roads we’ve traveled may evoke a range of dark and light effects, ennui or elation. Either way, it’s where the past with present intersects. Really enjoyed reading this today, Janice. Love the nostalgia plus the acknowledgement that not all memories are pleasant ones. Especially liked the summary statement, 'it’s where the past with present intersects.' Congrats on your win! Hugs ~ John

Hell is really old age when one tends to recall all the really stupid things one said and did during one's life, but the redeeming point is that we can still learn from those experiences! Remembering the happy childhood of one's children is always a welcomed memory! Well caught and scribed, Andrea! Aloha! Rico

I have not tried this challenge yet. It may prove quite difficult, I think!! But you made it look so easy and you ended up with a very worthwhile poem in the process!
