The Usa
I saw you shuffling through the dusk of city street
Your figure accenting bringing my eyes to rest
Like prodigals on the pleasing pillars of your breast
The cadence of your footstep frolicked in its beat
And all through the dim evening time of my desire
The fragrance of your body hung upon my nose.
Your face veiled by the shadows tossed me like clothes
Petals of smile that stirred my thirst, dare I retire
Then the pursuit of your form, dare I not deserve
Every dripless drop of my fantasy to hunt and serve
My famished heart your promised fare? Your attire
Cue others to your marginal pedigree, O but not I
Something in me had me endowed your slave to be
Some ancient gene that wrote on my deep identity
Said though you would decieve me, I'm your prey.
Here then in your cultured gloom let me find repose
And though you feed upon my blood, bring you rose.
