The Unwavering Spire

Fragrant branches, sharp and ever green,
Icy winds are broken by its screen.
Resolute in stillness, straight and tall,
True cones rise upright, refusing to fall.
Rooted deep where winter's vows are made,
Enduring beauty, never to be swayed.
Everlasting sentinel of the deep wood.
