The Universe

How did I get here…? It was of course no accident yet I would never willfully do this to myself nor anyone I love. I don’t think this feeling has fully sunk in yet. It’s almost as if I’m watching someone else’s life. Like I’m looking down into someone else’s universe. It started out so different. It was something magical. ………was……… I was swept off my feet. I felt light enough that the slightest gust of wind could have carried me away. I will always remember looking into those deep brown eyes and traveling the depths and wanting to stay there forever. Why, oh, why couldn’t I just stay there forever? We were exactly the same but also completely different. Our common interests grew fast. They withered away even faster. Things change, of course but how could you? My love, my life, my universe…
