The Union Meeting

All of you should be aware of our situation;
about our labor contract and its expiration.
Do we stay here and continue to work at steady pace?
Or do we just altogether walk out of this place?
This is why all we members are gathered here today.
So, is there anything any of you want to say?

I stood and said, “I’d like to make this declaration.
We require substantial amelioration.”
Someone else said, “I don’t know if what you say is true,
but I think there’s plenty of room for improvement, too!”
