The Undying Light

Outside, was rested, on a chair, The night, my eyes where lent, What lies, I quested, as I stirred, Doth lights, with shine intent, As I so gestured, long a glare, A sight, it came by, so went, My mind requested, from a flare, Ignited, flames thy smoke scent, An aroma, known, remembered, A wind reminiscent, blow past, A moment, shown, glowing ember, Cinder, evanescence, so cast, The distance, so it never returned, Lightening, suddenly it blows, out, Though it's existence, forever burns, Reciting thunder, to echo without, And so, life flashes, from afar, All we have is times gone bye, I look at the ashes of the stars, That still brighten the night sky.
