The Twentieth Century

I've never been to Heaven
nor have I been to Hell

But living through the 20th century
I think I know it well

I wonder about this one, for I feel we have all probably been to heaven, I think we originated there.

Sometimes I wonder Gershon being on this earth and seeing what is happening. You got me thinking...

A pithy piece and quite interesting to ponder. I once read a book titled "The Good Old Days, They Were Awful". So let us look to the future for a better world or it could get worse. Still in for the journey.

That sounds like a great book, Kenneth --- as either Dickens or Shakespeare put it: when life was 'brutish, nasty and short.' Hang in there, my friend. :) gw

You're right. Things seem to be going in a downward spiral. Here's to 'waiting it out.'

Seems the more technological progress, the more we humans regress. You think so?...

A lot of change, a downward spiral in so many ways even though inventions have made life easier, and no one knows what the future holds. Well, the Bible tells us what is on the horizon, but we don't know when. Thanks for sharing and for your visit to my page. Your comments are uplifting. Sara

And what a century it was! It's amazing to think of the happenings and innovations that are crammed into 100 years. Nicely written. :)
