The Truth In Love
~*~ The Truth in Love~*~
My truth lies not in the undulating waves
of the oceans tides
nor the ever changing moon
that endless is her guide
for the truths are hidden
in her great watery skirts
shadowed in her depths,
where lies with truth will flirt
yet high above the waters,
in the skies touched blue and gold
lies a pristine mountain valley
with all the truth ones heart can hold
for the wonder and the beauty
lie naked to the eye
life and love and happiness
enough to make one cry
and trimmed in sparkling wonder,
high atop the peaks
the stars dance nightly with the thunder
as the teardrops stain my cheeks
for never has more beauty,
and truth been spoken so true
as that within the mountain valley
where my heart resides with you
