The Truth Hurts

Author Dana Redricks May 14, 2019 Sometimes the truth hurts The pain of reality knowing that the person you thought loved you really don't and they don't won't to be around you anymore You swallow down your tears so they won't see you cry The pain deep down in your heart hurts so bad You grasp yourself trying to hold it together Even though you're together it seems as though you're apart Short romance, short dance You can't help but remember that first glance but now it seems it's over and the love you thought you had has became a part of your past

Glory is fleeting. Make the most of today. Tomorrow may not be as kind. Have a great day.
