You know if the truth be really heard
Baby I did not mean to get you upset
I don't know why it suddenly occurred
Maybe last few days I have not slept

it's like i did not want to walk away
but you always have the last word
Why could we not meet half way

You are always turning those tables
Words left unspoken at times slurred
Now again telling one of your fables
You know if the truth be really told
I did come back round to apologise
Give a hug as you I so wanted to hold
I wanted so much to dry your eyes
You know If the truth be really told
I don't know what your feeling inside
As at times your blowing hot and cold
I go on home and then nurse my pride

It feels like were always competing
I choose silver though you still gold
Again history we're just repeating
