The True Purpose

I need to hold on to FAITH Though things might seem unfair. I need to hang on to HOPE Though all around I sense despair. I need to believe there is GOODNESS Even in the midst of apparent sin. I need to keep seeing BEAUTY By remembering to look 'within'. I need to rely on TRUTH To be my guiding hand. I need to look to WISDOM To help me to understand.... If all of these my needs I find I am capable of, Then I will through GRACE Receive the ability to LOVE.

Thank you for your very kind comments about my poem "a dark place". I try to write with feeling. Whether it be driven by sadness, anger, desire or love. I see that you seem to use inner feelings and experiences to inspire your work..The True Purpose is a brilliant write and I truely enjoyed reading it and taking from its message Take care Paul

beauty comes with the true purpose of wisdom. Sylvia, love is the right perception when it comes to understanding the values that others have not encountered. Short with a very positive ending. Love, the goodness one can find through the right observation of faith and hope. luv' n.d
