The Trees In the Cold Winter
The trees in the cold winter
Bared, but stood tall and upright
Alone, while whistled in no height
Waited for regrowth day and night
By their growing time baited
They were not dead as fact
From the intrinsic nature hide
They whistled for forceful thunder
Welcome the sunshine and the rainwater
Delighting the leaves like twittering birds
As well akin to the chasing toddlers
