The Trees

They sway amongst the clouds and azure skies majestic giants enfolding my spirit in the webs they hold I feel the utter strength they posess as energies are drawn up up up through the core into tender branches that touch the skies my child climbs onto the back of one of the giants held in an embrace that is both awesome and serene while she overlooks the paths the little ants take far below.

You have captured the beauty of the trees in this poem. Once, in a hurricane, I saw their majesty again as they withstood the strong winds. Trees bring beauty day after day. Tree climbing was great, too. This poem is nostalgic to me...and wonderful. Thanks for writing it. Dane

Congrats on winning in my nature contest - this poem is brilliant. The picture it paints is so vivid and clear, like looking up from the roots and then down with a birds-eye view through your childs eyes - what could be better than that! AWESOME! So well done! Love Kristin
