The Tin Man

Here I go, I'm telling you that what I feel is real.
It's easier to feel, than tell you what I feel.
If I feel this strongly, it's important that you know.
For the greatest loves in history were admitted, not waited to show.
In explaining everything, I will do my part.
You say you can't feel emotions because you're lacking in your heart.
So how can I love someone so ardently, who himself is so free
From the tangles of emotions, making it impossible for him to love me?

This love is excruciating, my heart is in pain.
I'll sing to you in the morning and build you a shelter from the rain.
I want to walk and hold hands with you, stopping every few miles,
To lubricate your muscles and continue for awhile.
You say that I must yearn for someone like me, soft to the touch.
But feeling your strong arms around me is more than enough.

Every night while laying together before we go to bed at dusk
I will look you over gently, from head to toe, checking for rust.
No, I've told you baby, the way you are I don't mind.
Please don't bring that up again, I don't want someone my own kind.
No really, I don't want strong, I want weak, can't you see?
For strong I feel nothing, but your weakness does it for me.
With every touch of cold metal, I'm moved, I need more,
How can I show you, it's you i adore?

Don't let those tears fall, you know what that does.
If there were only two, you know it'd be us.
Come on now, let's walk now, don't forget that oil can.
I love you forever, I love you Tin Man.
