I have to guess as a youth you were focused on a couple of things so time seemed to linger. But not really. You are so much more now with many interests and loves that the time you give to each is now so much more precious! We just have to be more frugal with our time now and give it to what is really the most important.

We don't seem to truly know what we have until it's gone. The pining is palpable here... But time remains, my friend, moving at the same steady pace. Embrace it now and try to let go of past regrets <3

How strange that it seems inconceivable that time moves at a constant pace. It's a conundrum that is difficult to let go.
