The Time I'M In

The Time I'm In
This is the time I am in,
Forgetting everywhere I've been.
So very strange and new,
What's ahead? I haven't a clue.
Not sure exactly how to feel,
Some of this seems so unreal.
Stay the course is what I'll do,
Honestly, what have I to lose?
Journey to a place I've never known,
Where his Promise will be shown.
Excited and scared, so unaware,
Not afraid, for he is always there.
Walk a straight path and keep my faith,
This is how I'll receive God's Grace.
Do by his word and upright I'll stand,
Humble, before this not so ordinary man.
Old but new, and so very good and true.
It is easy to see it's what I must do.
This is the time I am in,
This is where my life will begin.
My Savior my Lord, loves me like no other,
As well as all my Sisters and Brothers.
Yes, this is the time I am in.
