The Thunder Rolls the sultry June afternoon drips with sweat as the impending tempest approaches the sun struggles for its last breath of light and an eerie stillness hangs in the air the prairie denizens have all taken shelter as ominous slate grey clouds rumble across the plains from the southwest like clouds from a stampeding herd and in the distance thunder rolls

A picture is Worth a Thousand Words, and you my dear friend- have painted a Masterpiece. Priceless moments indeed. "and in the distance thunder rolls" I can feel the vibration through your words. Storms are very inspiring. This is so beautifully written and presented. ~ Brandy

What a perfect poetic picture of an ominous storm - Don't like dark scary looking storms, but still look forward to them! Hugs, Jennifer.

Thank you, Jenn. So you don't like scary storms but look forward to them? I don't like severe storms but I do like a good thunderstorm as long as I don't have to go out in it; there is something very soothing about it. Hugs, John
