The Thrill and joy of Cycling

When my bicycle starts its spin,
I feel thrill and joy from within,
With pedals humming a soft beat,
Levered by my warm waltzing feet.

Its handles respond to my plea,
A tool for riding safe and free,
Whether in the town or city
Or up the hill with liberty.

A frame of steel, saddled with grace,
It responds with charm on my face,
The chain, it sings a soft refrain
As I steer along without pain.

It rushes me along a stream,
Leading me into a soft dream,
No heavy weight, no hefty load,
Just freedom on this open road.

It bears me against the cool breeze,
Wipes worries from my face forthwith,
The world unfolds in vibrant hues,
Washing forth the lingering dews.

Each turn I take, a tale untold,
A landscape painted brave and bold,
Its quiet hum, a steady song,
Where I feel I truly belong.

On my ride, I can eye trees wide,
Whispering secrets side by side,
The birds in chorus, clear and bright,
Filling the air with pure delight.

With my wheeler, uphill I mount
As waves of high tide I surmount,
My legs do burn, my breath does strain,
But joy dissipates any pain.

The downhill ride, a sweet release,
Ushers flowing, effortless peace
With a sense of ease that does grow,
As onward I serenely go.

With cycling, adventure`s in sight,
Filled with pure and radiant light,
Each mile that passes, I embrace
With ever growing, hopeful grace.

My two-wheeler, a trusted friend,
On whom my spirit can depend,
Carries me where my thoughts may roam,
And brings me back to what is home.

No engine's roar, no spoiling fumes,
Just human power chasing glooms,
A calm glide, dodging weary rooms
Dispelling shadows and all dooms.

The steel bicycle, I ride through,
A humble craft, yet grand and true,
The cycling dance, a steady art,
Resonates deep within my heart.

"My two-wheeler, a trusted friend, On whom my spirit can depend, Carries me where my thoughts may roam, And brings me back to what is home." So very true. Cycle is the most handy vehicle for commutation. I wonder why cyclists are becoming fewer day by day in the state I live. Beautifully written in great rhyme. Congratulations on your podium win.
