The Thief
Enchanted the guard
to somnolence
the thief comes in
and wondering
in secret chambers
lights
gems of heart
on fire.
Sparks of flame
flowing
from cracked heart
through veins
quivering through senses
sparkling
rivers of happiness.
The thief then departing
sparks of tears
crackling
with sobbing throbs' sighing:
return or I shall die!
You thief how did I
underestimate your power.
Am I in your heart
as you are in mine?
