The Tempo In My Head

The Tempo in My Head

And the melody played.
I heard it...
I knew it by heart.
Silent were the words
concealed but there,
foreign yet familiar.
Let my lips speak again
freely without hesitation,
fearless in thought.
Tender memories return.
Oh the joy one can feel
humming the tune of remembrance
of no beginning or no end.
Just there in it's presence
the love once lost was now found.
