The Teardrop
I
am
like the
teardrops
misting my
eyes, and like
my lover, whom
I had to let go, one
tear is now sliding down
my cheek; oh, how I wish
that my love were crying now
for me, and that like this one tear,
his hand was warmly caressing my
cheek! Oh, that his mouth could
be again on my mouth, like this
teardrop that has fallen to
my lips. I would be this
tear but sadly dying
on his mouth
