The Taste I Have Never Known

Who needs air
contaminated with lack of understanding,
sensitivity and creativity ?

I prefer to breathe words,
emotions fulfilling every inch of their bodies.

My soul was lost
and I found it in their glances.
Those pure eyes
reflect everything you yearn.

The glass has broken and I am finally home.

I stand there all alone, shivering, smiling.

Just please, grab my hand
and pull me to your side
for I need a soul mate,
someone who will help me recover my broken wings.
