The Tanned Old Man and the Sea
The captain of the ship, an old man
Lies on the dry deck to get sun tan
The tempest causes shipwreck
He swims from the flooded deck
To the brown beach as fast as he can.
Losing the ship the captain is sad
Looks at tanned body, his marine fad
Layered by the auburn sand
He knows it is in safe hand
The wrecked old man from the sea is glad.
