To feel your sweet embrace,
Would be the sweetest thing
To kiss your sweet lips,
Would be the sweetest thing
To see your smile,
Would be the sweetest thing
To have your love
Would be the sweetest thing
But I know that the sweetest thing
Can never be.
I can never feel your sweet embrace
Or taste your kiss
Or see your smile
Or feel your love
I belong to him
I know you love me
You know that Iove you
We both know that
Neither of us will ever have
