The Sweetest of Aches

Oh, mighty  Cupid,

You:

Winged son of Venus,

Love's infallible archer,

Irresistible charmer of human affection.
  

On my knees, I supplicate you,

To surpass yourself this time

By

Not sparing any heart  

From

The sweetest aches of all 

That

Your enchanting arrows could 

Ever inflict, 

Thus

The bliss of heavens, 

Each mortal would be able to live,

On earth today!
