Only heaven knew
How sweet it would be.
Only God knew
The grace we had received.
Only a true promise
Could bloom from divine seed.
Only Gabriel knew the weight
Of the message he bared.
Only a God like him
Would give such a gift.
Only dear Elizabeth knew
How blessed the Virgin was.
Only Earth required
The arrival of this king.
