The Super Pill
What would a Pill of Life do for me?
Will it give me an everlasting life?
Will I then acquire a sense
of supreme consciousness?
Or maybe eternal youth?
Will I then be always free and happy,
While my kith and kin are miserable
and die of sickness and old age?
Will it give me eternal salvation?
Will I then understand the
workings of the Natural Laws?
Or, will it condemn me to eternal damnation?
Nah, I rather chug along my course of destiny,
Swallowing wistfully the bitter pill of life!
