The Sunset
Tonights sunset was so beautiful
The sky was pink and gold,
The clouds made marvellous patterns,
A spectacle to behold.
I stopped to watch its artistry,
Skeleton trees in silhouette,
The sun sat heavy on the hedge,
A sight I won't forget.
I dreamt I looked at heaven,
I was connected to my soul,
This magnificent ball of fire
To God I must extol.
As the colours gently fell
Much lower in the sky,
The darkness followed slowly
As the day said its goodbye.
The end had been amazing,
A blessing from above
A vision of perfection,
Sent with all Gods love.
