The Sunrise
This I am beginning to learn-
With every situation that comes to pass
I am not losing myself
I am simply
Learning as I go along
Gaining a new perspective
Although-
The weight of change becomes heavier
Characters fade in and out
Subtle conversations
Critical revelations..
But I find solace in knowing
Goodbyes aren’t heartbreaking
It can be like the setting sun
Knowing that after each one
It will rise and so will I
