The Sun Shines Brightly

The sun shines brightly, it's a beautiful day
I watch the diamonds ripple on the water by the bay
If I could only hold your hand
We could sit here and hear the band
Oh no~the sky is turning gray
What can I say
Will we need to stop our play
This weather was not planned
The sun shines brightly....
Did you see the big flying blue jay
The four kids went that way
With all of this sun they will be well tanned
The party is not on the sand but on the land
Did you know it is his birthday
The sun shines brightly....
