The Sum of a Thousand Dreams 1
The world was formed, for the reason, there was love
Because there’s an omnipotent being, watching from above
From the sun that shines, to the very air we breathe
He provided us with everything; we will ever need
From the heavens to earth, from an atom to Adam
These are His gifts, a most bewildering stratum
We’ve inherited the world and the freedom to fly
There are answers in our heart; they are merely standing by
Be wary of mischievous sprites and the temptation of forbidden fruits
We should’ve already learned how to reap and to sow from a different root
Jesus has paved the way; it takes only to believe
Be mindful of our choices, don’t be too naive
There is power in faith and in understanding God’s words
It is why “I need you Jesus, my God, my Lord”
What more can we ask for which we haven’t yet seen?
God sent us his only begotten son, to save us from our sin
We have so much to learn and a lifetime to understand
We’ve wavered long enough, away from His hands
We are brothers and sisters, fashioned from the highest esteem
We’re God’s children; “The sum of a thousand dreams”
