The Stranger

Looking in a mirror I see a stranger staring back at me. The eyes express emptiness, no sign of recognition. Confusion emerges, asking questions whose answers are Camouflaged by a parasitic shell which feeds On the emotions of its companions greedily: Else it would deteriorate and return to the ash from whence it came. Vacant eyes ~ yet eyes expressing desire for knowledge. Who am I? Briefly I glance down and upon returning to my desperate stare, I see only confusion cloud my eyes again.
