The Stranger

The Stranger... The Stranger came knocking at my door With her eyes and lips veiled with kindness Her glistering teeth is like diamond I tried to read her lips But i was arrested by her kinky smile and body settings And tickled by her insecurity The stranger lived far away miles and seas But our poetic hearts know no boundaries Hence we share the same sheet daily She sees the things i see We bite and bark at each other like puppies when the bones are gone Come to think of it, she spanked my weathered and strained head with a chicken bone With my church heart, i forgive her because she is just a small girl She promised to pierce my obsession Taking me round the world of our fantasies In her word, 'time will tell' Each day, i stand frozen wishing and watching in the winter for time to tell But time has remained a necessary illusion But i will still wait for my wings to grow That i may soar and rest in her arms The last time the stranger visited my sheet She filled my bank with meadow, wildflowers and purple aster Spilling her milk on my flowers Spitting into my mental stool Dragging my canal into an endless search An avalanche of confession swept through her eyes This morning, she blew me a kiss that brought the universe to a stand still... Written by Awoh Kingsley Dedicated to Baity Chiquita... 25th Dec, 2012....6.15pm Chiquita and i shared the same poetic minds...she is indeed a genius and i will say lyrically sick..lol
